Today AEAWA posted regarding a meal break issue that had been flagged by some members.
Inadvertently, although not intended, the post offended a group of members in SOC, as the AEA was not across the whole situation which caused some confusion. The AEAWA formally apologise for this oversight to officers who were offended, as we stand by EVERY member and would never intend to upset or offend.
We also acknowledge the difficult times experienced and are aware everyone is doing their utmost best with SOP’s, policies and senior management decisions that often are made on the fly. Ours posts are never and will never be directed to the person or persons that are following senior management direction.
